C9 - C11 Acid
C9 – C11 Acid is a high purity, conjugated drying oil acid for alkyd resins, epoxy esters and copolymers requiring a combination of flexibility, adhesion, baking speed, color retention, chemical resistance, mar resistance, and water resistance. C9 – C11 Acid contains a negligible amount of linolenic acid (a yellowing factor), and a combined oleic and saturated acids content of less than 10%. There are no rosin acids or unsaponifiable matter present.
Applications
Industrial Enamels
C9- C11 Acid is a primary drying oils for the manufacture of fast dry industrial enamels. Their color retention and hardness is ideal for automotive refinish and shop coatings.
Alkyd Coatings
C9- C11 Acid is a primary drying oil for the manufacture of alkyd resins. C9- C11 Acid can be applied in a wide range of temperature conditions.
