Coscat™ 83 Catalyst
Coscat™ 83 is a proprietary organobismuth compound which was specifically developed as a catalyst for 2-component polyurethane systems. This catalyst is recommended as a sole or co-catalyst in urethane elastomer systems typically requiring lead, mercury or tin catalysts. Coscat 83 Catalyst has a high selectivity toward the polyol-isocyanate reaction, thus avoiding bubble generation at low levels of moisture.
Applications
Excellent general purpose catalyst for any polyol-isocyanate reactions.
Applications include room temperature & moderate to rapid catalysis for RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanization) Silicones.
Coscat 83 Catalyst catalyzed RTV silicones begin to cure immediately upon being exposure to air. They work effectively as a sealants that are water-resistant, adhesive, and hold their shape. They are most commonly used in wet environments such as building, bathroom, and kitchen sealants.
Applications include room temperature & moderate to rapid catalysis for elastomers. RTV Silicone Gasket is a single component vulcanizing elastomeric gasket for mechanical parts providing tough & flexible seal.
