Hydroxy Waxes (Up one level)
Paricin® 220 N-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-12-hydroxystearamide)
Paricin® 220, N-(2-hydroxyethyl) 12-hydroxystearamide, is a brittle, wax-like solid formed from the reaction of an amine with hydroxystearic acid. The formed hydroxystearamide is a high melting point wax like material that is extremely resistant to acids and alkalies in contrast to natural and synthetic ester waxes. Paricin® 220 has broad compatibility with natural and synthetic waxes, resins and polymers to provide excellent slip and lubricating properties.
