3,5-Lutidine

3,5-Lutidine is the precursor for the active ingredients in the drugs Omeprazol and Esomeprazole. These drugs, popularized under trademarked brand names such as Prilosec and Nexium, are proton pump inhibitors that decrease the amount of acid produced by the stomach. They are proven treatments for conditions where there is too much acid in the stomach, such as dyspepsia, heartburn, indigestion, ulcers, and acid reflux.

2-Vinylpyridine

2-Vinylpyridine is the key intermediate in the production of the API, Betahistine. Betahistine is an anti-vertigo medicine commonly prescribed for balance disorders and helps to alleviate dizziness. When compared to standard grades of 2-Vinylpyridine, our high-purity 2-VP HP meets more stringent specifications for purity and assay, which are key for use in pharmaceutical intermediates.

3-Aminopyridine

3-Aminopyridine is a useful building block in small molecule synthesis for APIs, including in the production of Linagliptin for the treatment of diabetes. Linagliptin is in a class of medications known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors, which function by increasing certain natural substances to help lower blood sugar.

Easy-Flo (DMAP) is used in the synthesis of many pharmaceuticals. It is a well-known acylation catalyst that improves yields and throughput by increasing reaction rates and suppressing unwanted side reactions, leading to higher quality end products.

Our Easy-Flo is the only DMAP available in prilled form; all other DMAP manufacturers and suppliers use a powder form. Our prilled (pellet) form offers an easier and safer handling experience across the supply chain.
