Potassium Chloride (KCl)

We are a major global supplier to the pharmaceutical industry for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Potassium Chloride (KCl). We operate a stand-alone plant in Midlothian, Texas, that adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and is overseen by the FDA.

Potassium Chloride is used extensively by the pharmaceutical and food industries to provide many benefits including potassium replacement for individuals with Hypokalemia, sodium reduction, and nutrient sourcing/replacement. It is also used as a reagent in laboratory testing, and as a reducing agent in high-purity tantalum refining. Based on the application, we offer products that vary according to particle size distribution, morphology (cubic or spherical), and moisture content.

Potassium Chloride is a white crystalline or colorless, granular material. It is odorless, stable in air and highly soluble in water. Our material is on file with the FDA (Drug Master File or DMF) and the EU (Certificate of Suitability or CEP) as an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient. In addition to USP- and FCC-certified grades, we also offer material that satisfies BP, EP and JP compendiums.
