As a comonomer, TEXALENE 6477 allows customization of the physical properties of industrial and engine lubricants. It improves oxidative stability while reducing the internal friction between engine parts.

Formulators can use TEXALENE 6477 to create custom polymeric derivatives. It is readily dispersible in a range of base oils. When further polymerized TEXALENE 6477 acts as a friction modifier in lubricants to reduce metal on metal wear. This reduction helps to extend the service life between maintenance.
